Frequently Asked Questions

how to take care of your latex?

Every piece is made of natural rubber and may stain other latex products, especially unprotected transparent or neon colors. Keep your item dry, clean and out of the sun. If you are wearing it in the sun or outside keep it protected with a light layer of silicone or shine. Make sure to wash and dry after every use. You may use a dedicated latex wash or a gentle unscented, pH neutral or dish soap with no natural oil additives. Oils will break down latex, including sweat, lubes and lotions.

Do not leave your latex pieces soaking in water or body fluids. Pee has urea and uric acid that can break down natural rubber and adhesives. Pre hydrating and avoiding diuretics before wearing can help.

Hang dry on a thick plastic hanger or press with a towel to remove excess moisture. Never use sunlight or heat to dry your rubber with the exception of boot dryers specifically for rain gear.

Products left soaking after extended explicit use are not guaranteed. Please wash and dry as soon as possible and store in a cool dark place sealed separately from any plastic or pvc items.

Can you make me a custom pattern?

No, I am an artist pouring each sheet by hand. Often its not possible to drop everything to do a couple ‘customized’ one off sheets; although, I can occasionally change the color or thickness of the current run by request.

How thick are the sheets?

Most sheeting is 0.4-0.5. The bottom of the item description will give a more accurate gauge for each individual run.

How big are the sheets?

I strive for consistancy when creating my sheets, but they can have slight variances between different pattern runs. Generally 115cm x 95cm. The size per individual sheet is listed on the item info page with the thickness. These are individual sheets and never a roll run like commercial latex.

Why do you not pour leopard anymore?

I may one day again! Now is not that day, kindly stop requesting this.

what is this white stuff?

All latex comes talced to not stick, please open your sheets promptly and roll into a tube! The grooves of any textured sheeting will have powder stuck in them, this is normal, please clean well before adherance.

Latex is vegan?

Not all rubber is alike, my artisan sheets do not contain casein, a known animal by-product, although some commercial sheeting may.

How long does it take to receive my order?

It varies depending on quantity and country of purchase, but can occasionally take up to 2-4 weeks for made to order items and 3-15 days for ready to go items.

Who do you ship through?

Royal Mail ground and air. This may take slightly longer, across the world it can be as quick as 8-10 days, but it is the most convenient and affordable option available.

what are your policies?

I do not offer returns or refunds, whether the shipping was slow or there is a slight color variance. You are purchasing a specialized hand crafted item and acknowledge such on order. Some small imperfections may occur despite the precise care taken to avoid such. Every sheet is unique.

I do not chlorinate, this is generally an end product process. If you are allergic to latex condoms and gloves you will be allergic to my sheeting. Rubluv cannot be held responsible for any allergy caused by the use of my products. It is natural latex rubber sheeting.
